The objectives of a Website vary from a company to another.
For some the Internet is a new market, for others only another
channel of communication, support for marketing strategies.
In any of these cases we consider a company's presence on
web as a key point in the communication process with their
clients.
Our objective is to ensure the integration of the business
model and our clients' messages in the experience of the Internet
user.
We use a methodology based on 6 steps, which provides a flexible
base for the development of each project. The specifics of
each project will make the difference between the consistencies
of these steps, but their purpose remains the same.
Phases of a project:-
1. Research
2. Strategy & Planning
3. Development
- Design - Applications
4. Testing
5. Implementation
6. Evaluation & Support
1. Research:-
This phase gives us all the necessary information to conceive
a viable and fit solution. We make an analysis of the entire
business environment specific to our client: competition,
market shares, target, consumer behavior, etc. Along with
a study regarding the needs of our client and his customers,
this information offers us the premises for developing a communication
strategy.
2. Strategy & Planning:-
Developing a successful project requires setting up the key
information, in order to choose the best and the most efficient
solutions.
Setting up clear objectives, according to company's business
objectives, the profile of the targeted-market, design objectives,
the most appropriate technical solutions - these are only
a few steps of this phase.
In this phase we have to establish very clearly the general
specifications, so that in every next phase we will be able
to concentrate more on every detail, according to the general
terms.
Even from this phase we will decide on the timeline, the structure,
the technologies and the design template. Some of the online
marketing principles that guide us when we elaborate the strategy
of a Website are:
"User-oriented
information" - structuring the information according to the user profile, in order
to ensure that the visitors content.
"From anywhere get anywhere" - each
page of the Website has links to every other page of the Website .
3.
Development:- To develop a project in optimal conditions and to
ensure a short development time, these 2 steps are simultaneous.
DESIGN:-
The design concept, communicating the message and predicting the users'
behavior are the main elements of this step. The result will be a combination
of words, images and interactivity plans which will perfectly accomplish the project
objectives, will communicate the message and will register the feedback.
The
design must integrate itself in the general line of the company's communication
strategy.
The design objectives are set according to the company's needs.
Generally we want to capture and keep the visitors attention.
As far as
the the technologies are concerned, we choose the optimal solutions based on the
Website 's objectives.
APPLICATIONS - Quick Web
BUILDER:- Quick Web BUILDER is a range of applications which allow
the update and the management of a Website 's content, developed exclusively in-house.
The main advantages of using Quick Web BUILDER are: the security of the
information transmission, the flexibility in content administration, the permanent
development of the applications, and the friendly interface which very easy to
use (very much like Windows; it does not require any web page editing knowledge).
These applications contribute to the modular structure of
the Website , so that any update of the content can be easily
made, without reediting all the pages.
Besides updating the content in a Website , these applications can
generate reports, structure the information received through the Website - which
can help you build up a successful online strategy.
4.
Testing:- This phase is very important to us, as we are aware that
the functionality of our product will reflect the image of our clients.
The
Website 's functionality and quality standards are analyzed. Repeated tests will
prove that the Website behaves according to the plan, having no problems with
its technology or design which can prevent a user from seeing it, according to
the initial specifications.
5. Implementation:-
The final version of the Website is implemented, both the server
and the client side.
6. Evaluation & Support:-
In this final phase we grade the level of objective achievement.
It is very important that the feedback is what we initially planned, in order
to provide the benefits we anticipated.
Even when a project is completed,
from our point of view, we keep an eye on it, to be sure that the whole system
of functioning and administration is up to date with the latest technologies.
